I couldn’t believe how massive these pillars were at well over 80 feet and how well preserved the colors were on the giant hieroglyphs. One of my favorite thins to do with an evening in Luxor was get a 50 cent falafel sandwich across the street from the temple and sit in the park in front of the temple and watch the night lights come on against the soft pink sky.
